About Amstel
Amstel was founded in Amsterdam in 1870 and named after the river the city is built on. Heineken took over the brewery in 1968.
Besides the regular Amstel lager, Amstel Radler is well known: a mix of beer and lemonade with less alcohol, popular on summer terraces.
