About Grimbergen
Grimbergen is an abbey beer of the Norbertine abbey of Grimbergen near Brussels. The label shows a phoenix with the motto 'Ardet nec consumitur': it burns but is not consumed, because the abbey burned down and was rebuilt several times.
The beer is brewed under licence; outside Belgium the brand belongs to Carlsberg.
