About Affligem
Affligem is an abbey beer named after the Benedictine abbey of Affligem in Flemish Brabant, founded in 1074. It is brewed in Opwijk, at a brewery owned by Heineken.
The best known are Affligem Blonde, Dubbel and Tripel. In the Netherlands, Affligem is on many menus as an easy-going Belgian specialty beer.
