About Stella Artois
Stella Artois comes from Leuven. The brewery traces its history back to the Den Hoorn brewery of 1366, which Sebastien Artois took over in 1717.
The beer was first brewed as a Christmas beer in 1926; the star ('stella' in Latin) on the label is a reminder of that. Stella is now part of AB InBev.
